Rue de France..

This is Rue de France in Philippeville, southern Belgium. Philippeville is an old garrison town named after Philippe of Spain. It used to have walls with bastions but they were dismantled by the French and all the roads lead to the centre of the town in a sort of spider’s web formation. It also has a very impressive network of tunnels some ten kilometres long dating from the 17th century, some are even open to visiteurs..
