The mill pool.

This photo is an empale in how to catch trout with a camera. This old mill pool is not far from where I live. I went down the other day to take a few photographs and met a fisherman who had just caught a trout. We got talking about the pool and fishing etc and then he offered me his freshly caught trout which of course I accepted gladly. So next time your out, see off you too can catch a fish with your camera…

    • I love the reflections in the water and the broken wooden support for the pool side. You can just make out the church steeple in the village of Boussu-Lez-Walcourt where I live. It’s sort of dreamy and I thin that’s what I like best.

      Thanks for the comment.

  1. Would this lovely picture also work as a mono? Very nice misty view. I think, my friend, that you get up somewhat earlier than I do…………… cool misty mornings keep me in bed… 🙂

    • This was at about ten in the morning John 🙂 HAHA! The mist can stay around for quite sometime here. I will try looking at it in monochrome and see what it looks like. It’s the wooden bank that is slightly broken that makes the picture for me. Don’t know why….
