Where the veil is thin….

There is a wood not far from where I live. It is a place where I feel at home and at peace. I feel a real sense of belonging to the very place as if it’s under my skin. In this wood there is a river which forms small pools. One can understand why the Celtic people believed that water came from and carried messages from the unseen world. It is the very blood of the earth that remembers all that it has seen. The very  life force of creation. Water is common in many of the worlds creation and flood myths. Christ himself said to the Samaritan woman at the well… “Whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” John 4.14 Jesus uses water here to descried a new creation….

  1. SANCTUS, Sanctus, Sanctus, Dominus Deus Sabaoth. Pleni sunt caeli et terra gloria tua.
HOLY, holy, holy, Lord God of hosts. Heaven and earth are full of Thy glory.
